The Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust is proud to be able to offer a limited edition print featuring the Dyfi Ospreys, Monty and Nora. The painting depicts the scene shortly after their first ever chick hatched on Julne 5th 2011. This bird was Einion and he was the first osprey to hatch on the Dyfi since 1604. He is now on the west coast of Senegal just south of Dakar!
Renowned wildlife artist Terence Lambert has generously donated the copyright of his stunning original to the Trust. 500 high quality prints have been locally produced on museum quality conservation paper and are available from the Welshpool office.
Prints cost £50. Each print is individually signed and numbered and is expected to become a collector's item, as well as giving lasting pleasure as a representation of this historic event. The size of the print is 610mm x 438mm including the signed border. The size of the actual painting within the border is 507mm x 317mm. Orders by post will be rolled and securely packaged, or mounted for collection only.
The proceeds of sales of the prints will help the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust continue its charitable work, which includes the Dyfi Osprey Project.
Multi award winning photographer, Andy Rouse, has collaborated with the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust to offer five of the best prints he recently shot of the Dyfi ospreys; 40% of the profits go directly to the Dyfi Osprey Project to help keep us going next year.
