Keep Calm and Look Up

A few tips:

1. Glesni and Monty have been back together for 12 days today, the first mating was on the evening of April 15th. The egg laying window opens around now.

2. Last year it was 19 days between first mating and first egg - but this was their first time together. Subsequent years tend to get shorter.

3. Female ospreys tend to lay eggs during daylight hours, but not always.

Here are some key timescales from previous years:

Make sure you say clearly your estimate - For example: “April 29th at 10:30 am"

Keep Calm and Look Down

GOOD LUCK!!
